Our portfolio in the UK consists of various exploration, production and development activities throughout the Northern, Central and Southern North Sea, West of Shetland, and in the Moray Firth.

We hold a total of 28 operated and 47 non-operated licences acquired through successful licensing rounds, acquisitions and asset farm-ins. Our average annual production in 2012 was 33,300 barrels of oil per day.

Careful portfolio management and rigorous technical review has resulted in Dana participating on average in six exploration and appraisal wells per year over the past three years. This accounts for almost 10% of the total annual exploration and appraisal wells drilled in the UK, making Dana a key player in the North Sea.

Our strategy is to continue to invest in our UK exploration portfolio and convert exploration prospects into reserves and production. In 2012 we drilled four exploration wells and participated in the UK 27th Licensing Round, gaining six new licenses. The 2013 portfolio consists of six exploration and appraisal wells.
