Qualifications: MSc Mechanical Engineering, University of Trondheim, Diploma in Management Studies, Robert Gordon University, MBA, Aberdeen University

Reidar has more than 30 years North Sea operations and general management experience from international exploration and production companies and service companies. Prior to joining Dana he worked with Petro-Canada, Procon Drilling Services, DNO Heather and Unocal International.

Yongsun Ahn

Yongsun Ahn

Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Mr Ahn has worked for KNOC since 1993.

 

In KNOC and its subsidiaries, he has held key roles in the areas of E&P business fund operation and management and Energy & Resources business special accounting management. He also worked as finance director of ADA OIL LLP in Kazakhstan and was KNOC Senior Manager of Europe & Africa asset management. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Law and an Executive MBA.

Qualifications: Mr Kang has degrees in Business Studies and English Literature from Hankuk University in Seoul.

Mr Kang has spent 22 years with KNOC, in various roles and locations including leading the subsidiaries business, finance management and business planning. Most recently he was KNOC's Senior Manager of Production Planning.

David Crawford

David Crawford

Chief Financial Officer

David Crawford was chief financial officer and company secretary for Dolphin Drilling’s UK and international operations before joining Dana in 2011.

He has 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry including 17 years working for Total in Aberdeen.

Based in Aberdeen, David holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and has been a qualified accountant for 20 years.

Dr Richard Fox

Dr Richard Fox

Exploration Director

Qualifications: Richard has a PhD in Geology from University College Cork, Ireland. He is currently the Aberdeen Director of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) and is Chairman of the Board of ExploHUB at the University of Aberdeen.

Before joining Dana in 2012 as Chief Geologist Richard spent 22 years at BP where he was recognised as a technical expert with significant experience in technical, exploration and appraisal subsurface leadership across multiple basins. He has worked on a number of the largest fields in the world and helped build BP’s exploration businesses in the North Sea, North America, the Middle East and Brazil and for many years championed a senior technical coaching initiative which was adopted across the business.

Jim Mair

Jim Mair

Director of Commercial and New Business Development

Qualifications: MA (Hons) Economic Science, Aberdeen University

Jim joined Dana in May 2012 following more than 30 years with Shell and, prior to that, 3 years with Ferranti. He has done a variety of commercial and finance jobs ranging from contracts negotiation and management with Ferranti and then Shell (in both Aberdeen and Brunei), finance/treasury management (in Brunei, London and Dublin) and NBD/Mergers and Acquisitions (in The Hague). For the last fifteen years his experience has been mostly in M&A where he was involved in a lead role in many of Shell’s major portfolio moves, such as the swap of assets with Marathon to increase Shell’s interest in the Sakhalin II project in Russia, the acquisition of Enterprise Oil, the buyout of the minority interest in Shell Canada and the sell down of Shell’s interest in Woodside Petroleum in Australia.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) Business Management and a postgraduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing
Professional memberships: Chartered Institute of Public Relations

Andrew joined Dana in 2011 as Director of Group Communications and External Affairs. He was promoted to the position of Director of Corporate Affairs and Business Support in January 2014, overseeing HSSE, procurement and supply chain management, business assurance and risk management in addition to all aspects of Dana’s reputation. Before joining Dana he was Executive Director of Communications and External Affairs at Gatwick Airport for three years and was closely involved in the sale of the airport and its successful development as a competitive, independent company. He was previously Group Head of Corporate Reputation at Centrica having joined the energy group as a graduate management trainee in 2000.

Snagho Nam

Sangho Nam

Director of Reservoir Management and Technology

Qualifications: MSc in Reservoir Engineering

Mr Nam has been an influential member of the Dana team since he joined soon after KNOC’s acquisition of the business in late 2010. A qualified reservoir engineer, he has worked for KNOC since 1992 holding a range of positions in Seoul and overseas.

Sangho worked with Texaco in Aberdeen from 1998 to 1999 and has extensive experience supporting KNOC operations and new business development in America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Eiko van Dalen

Eiko van Dalen

Director of Capital Development Projects

Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering degree in Petroleum & Gas Technology, Masters degree in Geochemistry from Utrecht University and a Masters degree in Management of Safety, Health & Environment from Delft University of Technology.

Eiko joined Dana Petroleum Netherlands in 1999 and has held a number of roles including HSE coordinator, offshore installation manager, project manager, production operations manager and asset manager. He has played a key role in the development and implementation of integrated management systems and directing, managing and providing leadership to production and maintenance operations for Dana’s offshore operated facilities in the Netherlands.

Most recently, Eiko was appointed as Director of Capital Development Projects to oversee all future and existing projects including the Western Isles Development Project.

Professional memberships: Law Society of Scotland; Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators

Jill joined Dana in 2011 from Shell where she was Senior Legal Counsel responsible for acquisitions and divestments and decommissioning security. Prior to that, she headed up the legal department based in Aberdeen. She has over 20 years’ experience supporting upstream oil and gas businesses in both legal and commercial roles. Prior to joining Shell, Jill worked with Chevron where she provided support to the company’s UK upstream operations in both London and Aberdeen.
