Speaking of success, we’re very proud of some of our recent achievements: in 2011 we increased production by 30% from 40,000 barrels of oil per day to 56,000; the Hanze platform which we operate in the Dutch sector achieved 10 years with zero Lost Time Incidents; we strengthened our position in the Central North Sea with the Bittern acquisition; and we achieved revenues of $953 million in 2011 – a 50% increase on 2010.

We’re focused on further expansion and plan to invest more than $5 billion over the next five years. Our ambition to grow in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and to more than double the size of our business by 2016 is clear. We’ve got a busy drilling programme scheduled for 2012; we’re drilling 18 exploration and appraisal wells, and 29 production and development wells.
