Monitoring against Dana’s HSSE commitments

In order to successfully manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Security and Environment Dana operates an Integrated HSE Management System which is implemented throughout the organisation. Dana has a strong team of HSE professionals supporting activities and operations in Dana's head office and country office locations. HSE is led by the Group Chief Executive, The Group HSSE Director and all others within the Dana Group’s Senior Executive Team. The standards and requirements set out at Group level are implemented within each operating country where regional Managing Directors take delegated responsibility for their respective HSE performance.

HSE Performance is monitored at country office and Group level, with key performance indicators, goals and objectives set on an annual basis to ensure compliance and continual improvement in HSE. Through sharing knowledge and implementation of the company HSE management system, Dana strives to deliver on the company's HSE policy

Statement from Group HSSE Director, Tim Ingram:

"Dana is currently going through a period of rapid growth and extensive change. While this is a particularly exciting time it is imperative that we don’t lose sight of the significance of our HSE performance. With this in mind, we are instigating plans to review and further develop and improve all aspects of our HSE systems. A particular focus for us is Process Safety because, when we get this right, we’ll have a successful business that harms neither people nor the environment."
