Dana Petroleum plc (Dana) has appointed three new executive directors as it looks to grow its operations in the UK and internationally.
Acquired by the Korean National Oil Company (KNOC) in October 2010, Dana's strategy is to grow production and reserves in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and beyond by becoming a partner of choice in its chosen markets.
Jill Reid, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary joins from Shell UK, where she was Senior Legal Counsel for deal delivery, strategy and portfolio management for eight years and prior to that Legal Manager based in Aberdeen. Jill has over twenty years experience as a lawyer in the energy sector having started her career with Chevron.
Stuart Payne, Group HR Director joins from Shell where he was Vice President of Human Resources for Exploration and Commercial, based in Houston. Before this role, Stuart had worked in a number of Human Resources and Talent Management roles for both Shell and BT.
Andrew McCallum, Director of Group Communications and External Affairs joins from Gatwick Airport where he spent three years as Executive Director of Communications and External Affairs. Previously Andrew was Group Head of Corporate Reputation at Centrica, having joined the energy group as a graduate trainee in 2000.
Announcing the appointments, Dana's Group Chief Executive, Dr Marcus Richards said: "This is a very exciting time for Dana.
