Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
Based: Aberdeen with offshore trips required
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Triton Asset Manager is responsible for managing the Triton Asset to deliver its annual key performance indicator, strategic commitments and deliverables. This includes the development, evolution and delivery of the Triton Asset Short and Long Term Plans to safely and efficiently maximise the economic recovery of the asset thus meeting the Health, Safety, Environmental and Net Zero obligations.
Working alongside the Asset and Functional Management Teams, responsible for the ongoing development of a positive culture to effectively preserve the company’s integrity and deliver excellence within the Dana UK business.
Everyone working for or on behalf of Dana Petroleum has the following responsibilities with regard to his or her work to:
Familiarise with the Dana Code of Conduct and policies, including the policies on HSE, Risk Management and Major Hazards;
Familiarise with the One Dana Management System and its meaning for day-to-day work;
Familiarise with the work and be aware of all associated risks for People, the Environment, Assets and Reputation (PEAR);
Report any incident, near miss, hazards (unsafe acts/situations) and improvement suggestions;
Know their roles and responsibilities;
Actively participate in any job or HSEQ training or instruction by or on behalf of Dana Petroleum;
Use all provided means as intended and according to their purpose.
Strong leadership capability, experience of leading teams across multiple disciplines, and the ability to understand and interact effectively with diverse groups and operations, both onshore and offshore.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure and deliver timely results, coupled with personal drive and self-starting initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising integrity.
Knowledge and experience in upstream oil and gas operations and field development preferred. Familiarity with UK Oil and Gas Industry Regulations preferred.
Capable of motivating and fully utilising the capabilities of team members and collaborating with other functions / key contractors to achieve the asset deliverables.
Demonstrates effective listening skill when interacting with others and is impactful when communicating with others. Can compellingly influence others to support and implement asset strategy and business unit deliverables.
Able to develop short and long term strategic plans for the asset and coordinate the execution of activities and prioritise as required. Balancing longer-term stewardship obligations with shorter-term commercial imperatives.
Extremely proactive and creative in anticipating and dealing with situations and issues that will impact on the asset and team. Displays persistence in the achievement of organisational deliverables, goals and results.
Continuous Improvement focused, able to identify opportunities to remove waste and streamline processes to deliver value across your area of the business. Comfortable in taking responsibility and making prudent decisions that will impact the asset performance and direct the actions of others.
Capable of establishing and controlling both operational and capital budgets.
Able to evaluate and ensure the effective application of all relevant health and safety legislation.
Committed to coaching, training and development of direct reports and wider asset team.
