Triton Asset Manager

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Based: Aberdeen with offshore trips required

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Triton Asset Manager is responsible for managing the Triton Asset to deliver its annual key performance indicator, strategic commitments and deliverables. This includes the development, evolution and delivery of the Triton Asset Short and Long Term Plans to safely and efficiently maximise the economic recovery of the asset thus meeting the Health, Safety, Environmental and Net Zero obligations.

Working alongside the Asset and Functional Management Teams, responsible for the ongoing development of a positive culture to effectively preserve the company’s integrity and deliver excellence within the Dana UK business.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Role-model compliance within the relevant Triton HSSE policy, ensuring all activities are planned and conducted in a compliant manner, including management of Major Accident Hazard risks and compliance with HSE safety case obligations and performance standards.
  • Ensure the identification of critical asset business risks and the preparation of risk mitigation and contingency plans for the asset.
  • Manage the team to produce results through effective supervision, coaching and leadership.
  • Communicate effectively and consistently role model the Dana Values of Safety, Respect and Integrity.
  • Readily accept accountability and hold others accountable as per their specific job descriptions and delegation of authority.
  • Coach team members to develop personal capabilities and enhance the technical capability of the team. Support the personal development of team members and demonstrate a personal commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Manage the team in order to deliver budgeted outputs and costs including Opex, Capex and Abex. Effectively manage resources within your control, minimising waste, and risk, and raise potential deviations as soon as they are identified.
  • Manage all asset activities in line with business planning and budgeting cycles.
  • Responsible for delivery of the asset annual scorecard including HSE, Production and Financial commitments.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely investigation into all HSSE and production loss events, act as case owner where required, ensuring appropriate root causes and effective corrective actions are identified to prevent reoccurrence and ensure a continuous improvement methodology at all times.
  • Responsible for short and long term asset and field development planning.
  • Accountable for compliance with Regulatory submissions, Licence commitments, OGA Stewardship Expectations and Commercial Agreements.
  • Liaise closely with the functional managers including but not limited to the HSSE Manager, PSCM Manager, Joint Venture Manager, Resource Development Manager, Financial & Planning Manager, Engineering & Asset Integrity Manager, ensuring a true One Dana approach to business delivery.

HSEQ Responsibilities

Job specific skills and
knowledge

Strong leadership capability, experience of leading teams across multiple disciplines, and the ability to understand and interact effectively with diverse groups and operations, both onshore and offshore.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure and deliver timely results, coupled with personal drive and self-starting initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising integrity.

Knowledge and experience in upstream oil and gas operations and field development preferred. Familiarity with UK Oil and Gas Industry Regulations preferred.

General capabilities

Capable of motivating and fully utilising the capabilities of team members and collaborating with other functions / key contractors to achieve the asset deliverables.
