Dana Petroleum Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Korea National Oil Corporation.

Following the two oil crises of the 1970s, the South Korean government wanted to secure a stable oil supply. Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) was established in 1979 as the state-run oil company, carrying out energy projects on behalf of the Korean government. Visit www.knoc.co.kr.
